Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she dropped out of high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's principal character. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and also won the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace quit the show in 2005 to focus on the role of a greater part in film, appearing alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. Grace has been as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series in the final two episodes, playing Shannon. She appeared in 2013's seventh season Californication. She portrays Faith she is an admirer and muse to the celebrities. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and is the younger sibling of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor parts in a few of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received praise from critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) that earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. She gained wider recognition after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercial films she starred in the year 2006. Gyllenhaal's first film as a director and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she was awarded the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
