Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. His first appearance on television Evans portrayed characters including Opposite sex in 2000. In 2005, following appearances on Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007) He was known for playing the Marvel Comics superhero, the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in the films of comics as well as graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Captain America/Steve Rogers is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019, brought him more acceptance. His role in the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the top-paid actors.
